Wood banded frame. Tufted back over a loose seat. Square legs. This is an updated barrel back chair. Despite the tufting, the overall effect is crisp and tailored. With a choice of fabric and finish, it thrives in both traditional and more contemporary settings. The companion sofa works particularly well with this chair – sharing the idea of wood banding without being a matching set. Dramatic as a two- or four-piece conversation group. Often used with a combination fabric. One of the most published Baker designs.
