Classic Imports & Design follows a very strict return policy. Please be certain about your purchase before committing.

If you change your mind about an item, please contact us at classicimportsanddesign@gmail.com to initiate a return. Eligible returns are subject to a non-negotiable 35% restocking fee, in addition to outbound and return shipping and delivery charges.

Orders shipped with free shipping will be subject to the real value of the shipping costs associated with the order.

Returns requests must be received within 7 days from the delivery or pick-up date, and in original condition and in original packaging. Items not received in original condition and in original packaging cannot be refunded.

Only once the item(s) have been returned to the warehouse and have been inspected by our receiving team can the refund be issued.

Additional Terms

  • Non-stock items and custom orders are not returnable and non-refundable.
  • Floor Samples and all items marked as final sale are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for other items as they are sold in the condition as is.– Orders that are not deliverable due to size or weight will be subject to our return policy. Please measure all elevators, doorways, stairways and openings to confirm that your order can be delivered.

Shipping Rates & Lead Times

Our store offers luxury furniture, lighting, & art which is produced from countries around the world. Most of our products are shipped from overseas, meaning some products can take several months to arrive. For customers shipping within the USA, most of our products can ship in under 2 weeks if they are in stock at a U.S. warehouse. When inquiring about our products, we will inform you of the current stock & estimated shipping times. We will be able to provide reasonable estimates of stocking dates. We will be honest and clear about how long it will take for a product to arrive. Some items are made to order meaning the product is not produced until we place an order with details such as the fabric or finish (These can take anywhere between 4-24 weeks). When we provide an estimated delivery date, this is not a garuntee. There can be delays, we will inform you as soon as we are aware of any delay. We have extensive experience in the industry, and we can provide educated information on how long it will take for products to arrive & ship. 

When you place a quote request or contact us regarding our products, we always provide you with information on shipping times and stocking dates. We obtain this information directly from the company who produces the product. 

When any of our products are delivered, they must be inspected and signed only if in good condition. If there is any damage, the delivery driver must be notified immediately and the item must be returned. If possible, take photos of the damage. Here is an example from our primary home delivery company (Arcadia Home Delivery) of what the receiver of the product must sign.

“I have read the Arcadia Home Delivery, LLC Statement of Delivery and Claims and agree to the terms and conditions set forth therein. I was given sufficient time to inspect the delivered furniture for defects and/or damage and to inspect my personal and real property for any damage rendered thereto as a result of the delivery process. I have found everything satisfactory and my signature below releases Arcadia Home Delivery, LLC from all liability except any personal property damage that which is specifically noted. I understand and agree that defective or damaged items are to be returned at the time of delivery. In home repairs are not the responsibility of Arcadia Home Delivery, LLC or its contracted drivers. Arcadia Home Delivery, LLC reserves the right to remanufacturer any item deemed freight damaged as set for in the Statement of Delivery and Claims.”

In summary, when you sign for a delivery you agree that you have inspected the product for damage during shipping. Do not sign untill the package has been opened and inspected for damage. Only sign if the item is in good condition. Signing the receipt voids any insurance for shipping related damages. If there is damage, please send pictures to this email address where we can file an insurance claim.
